Lynx fans can look forward to a high-energy season defined by blockbuster matchups, special themed rounds, and the return of a competitive squad featuring both exciting new arrivals and fan-favourite returnees. The team will once again call the Perth HPC home, as they look to go one step further than the WNBL26 season, and lift the trophy come season’s end.
Across 16 rounds running from mid-October 2026 through to the end of January 2027, the Lynx will play 10 home games at Perth HPC, plus two additional fixtures in Perth at RAC Arena during HoopsFest, the League’s bumper festival of basketball that brings all 19 WNBL and NBL teams together at the one venue.
Perth’s WNBL27 campaign opens at home with a bang, with a Grand Final re-match against the Townsville Fire on Saturday 17 October. Aiming to re-create the atmosphere of the sold out Game 2 of the WNBL26 Grand Final series, it will be the first chance Perth Lynx fans have to see Sami Whitcomb back in action in red since WNBL23, plus fellow recruits Nya Lok and Teige Morrell will also be on show.
Other key home fixtures for fans to keep an eye out for will be Indigenous Round in Round 6, when the Lynx take on the UC Capitals, Mental Health Round in Round 8, when they take on the new-look Sydney Flames, and Pride Round, when the Caps again return to Perth HPC in Round 13.
This year the Lynx will also feature in two blockbuster HoopsFest matches at RAC Arena, once again playing the reigning champs in the Fire on Wednesday 13 January, before taking on the Bendigo Spirit at the same venue on Sunday 17 January, following on from what is sure to be another epic HoopsFest battle between the two sides.
Perth Lynx General Manager, Chris Earl, said the fixture provides an exciting opportunity to connect with fans and build momentum throughout the season.
“We’re really excited to release the WNBL27 fixture to our fans. There is plenty for our members, partners, supporters and the broader WA basketball community to look forward to,” Earl said.
“It is a demanding fixture for us, particularly from a travel perspective, which is part of the reality of representing Western Australia in a national competition.
“The move to Perth HPC last season was incredibly successful and it quickly became a strong home court advantage for us. Our members and fans played a huge role in creating that momentum, and this season we want to carry that forward by making Perth HPC one of the toughest places to play, while delivering an entertaining game day experience our fans are proud to be part of.
"With the talent we're assembling for the season, highlighted by having Sami back in red for the first time since 2023, we believe we have the group ready to take us one step further than last year.”
