Perth Lynx kick off their 2025–26 WNBL campaign with a blockbuster Round 1 clash against the Adelaide Lightning this weekend in Adelaide.
After a strong off-season that saw the Lynx bolster their roster with key signings including defensive powerhouse, Brianna Turner, Perth will be looking to make an early statement against a Lightning side eager to impress on home court.
Adelaide, led by star forward Steph Talbot, will pose a formidable challenge with a mix of experienced talent and emerging youth. The Lightning will be keen to capitalise on their home advantage and start the season with momentum, especially following an exceptional showing at the League's recent pre-season tournament in Townsville.
