The Goldfields Basketball Association are excited to announce the City of Kalgoorlie-Boulder will be hosting two thrilling pre-season games between the Perth Lynx and reigning Women’s National Basketball League (WNBL) Champions, Bendigo Spirit.
Supported by principal partner of the Perth Lynx, Northern Star Resources the Goldfields Basketball Association and the Department of Creative Industries, Tourism and Sport, the events are delivered in partnership with the Goldfields Giants organisation.
Game Schedule:
• Tuesday 16 September 2025 | Perth Lynx vs Bendigo Spirit | 6pm tip off
• Wednesday 17 September 2025 | Perth Lynx vs Bendigo Spirit | 6pm tip off
Both matches will be hosted at the Goldfield Basketball Centre, with ticketing information to be released by the club shortly. All proceeds from entry to the matches will go to the Goldfields Basketball Association.
Beyond the court, both teams will participate in a range of community activities including basketball clinics, coaching seminars, high performance workshops and school visits. These initiatives aim to inspire and connect with the local community, especially young aspiring athletes across all sports.
Chris Earl, General Manager of Perth Lynx, said the club was excited to bring some of the country’s top basketballers to Kalgoorlie.
