Match up
Your Perth Lynx will open their WNBL27 campaign against reigning champions Townsville Fire in a highly anticipated rematch of last season's Championship Series.
The Lynx enter the new season with an exciting new-look roster, headlined by the additions of Georgia Amoore and Teonni Key, who will both make their club debuts.
Amoore arrives following her time with the Washington Mystics in the WNBA, bringing exceptional playmaking, creativity and scoring ability to the Lynx backcourt. She will be a key contributor in driving Perth's up-tempo style of play.
Standing at 6'5", Key brings athleticism, size and a strong defensive presence to the Lynx frontcourt. Having previously played alongside Amoore at the University of Kentucky, the pair provide an exciting combination at both ends of the floor.
The match will also see six players make their Perth Lynx debuts:
- Haley Peters
- Georgia Amoore
- Teonni Key
- Chloe Hodges
- Reece Anticevic
- Brooke Malone
With a blend of returning players and new talent, the Lynx will be looking to build on last season's Grand Final appearance and start their championship campaign strongly in front of their home fans.
