The Perth Lynx have been eliminated from the WNBL semi-finals after a hard fought effort against the first-seeded UC Capitals on Thursday night, 91-75.

Perth started the game strong with a 23-14 first term, but after a fight-back from the Capitals, The Lynx found themselves with a seven-point deficit going into the second half.

Brittany McPhee grabbed 12 rebounds in the first, half while Kate-Rae Ebzery led the Lynx scoring with 13 points.

McPhee finished with an impressive 10-point, 19-rebound double-double in her 34 minutes of play.

Asia Taylor had a hard fall in the second term, and took a knee to her head which caused her to leave the court.

Taylor did not return to the game and was checked for a concussion.

The momentum shifted back into Perth's favour in the third quarter with some stellar defence, and eight points from Alison Schwagmeyer.

Schwagmeyer finished with a team-high 17 points, to go along with her five rebounds and two assists.

The Canberra Capitals will now head to a best-of-three grand final matchup with the Adelaide Lightning.
